Meet Dr. Brian Stearn

As an orthodontist, I strive to provide the most pleasant, comfortable, and efficient treatment possible, exceeding patients’ expectations in every way possible. While the finished smile is our shared goal, it is just as important to me that each patient enjoys their treatment, from initial consultation to final visit.

After practicing orthodontics for over 35 years, I still look forward to coming to “work” each morning. Every day, each patient, and all interactions are unique: this keeps me engaged and excited about what I do and I think that happiness is evident in my interactions with patients.

I believe every patient deserves to be treated with respect and compassion, to be heard and encouraged to be part of their treatment experience. To that end, we have designed the practice with private rooms and the patient has our undivided attention during their visits.

It is an honor to care for people in this manner, to help each achieve a smile that can, in many cases, transform the person’s life.

One of the most fascinating aspects of orthodontics, I find, is how the specialty is constantly advancing. Research leads to new techniques, technologies, and materials, improving treatment, efficiency, and results.

Through continuing education, I stay at the forefront of the latest developments, continually learning and expanding my abilities. Recently I have focused on Invisalign®, as well as multidisciplinary cases involving surgery and major restorations. I am particularly interested in treating complex cases, achieving amazing results that go beyond what was expected or deemed possible.

Additionally, I have been an Associate Professor at NYU, off and on, over the past 30 years.

Beyond the Practice

I’ve lived in Nassau County my whole life. Family is important to me: being with my wife, three children, granddaughter, and two granddogs is always a priority. Of course, I find time to enjoy baseball and football games, too.
